Happy New Year!
January is a busy month with rallies and the Women's March.
We're kicking off 2018 with a rally to celebrate Issa's retirement this year.
Tuesday, January 7, 2018, 10:00 a.m.: Weekly Rally at Issa's Vista Office - Issa's Retirement Party
1800 Thibodo Rd., #310, Vista, CA Yes, I will be there. For more information, go here.
Our rally theme is being promoted by the national Indivisible team to show members of Congress that 2018 is here and we intend to hold them accountable for their YES votes on the tax-scam bill. And even though Issa voted against it, we know his NO vote was a total sham! We also know that 98% of his votes are right in line with the Trump agenda and we intend to hold him accountable for it.
So, regardless of weather, let's still be the biggest rally in the country this week! Please make sure to RSVP above because we are buying party supplies and cake. Bring "Issa, You're Fired", "Happy Retirement" "2018 is Here", "Bye-Bye Issa", etc. signs, bring your friends, and bring your energy!
Thursday, January 9, 2018, 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.: Weekly Encinitas Unity Issa Street Corner Protest
At the corner of El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd. Please join our lively weekly protest and show your support. For more information, check encinitasunity.com.

What to expect when Congress Returns in January by The Indivisible Guide
Congress will have a full plate when it gets back to DC. The Senate is expected to return on January 3, and the House is expected to return January 8. Congress will have to fund the government again by January 19: Let's demand funding for CHIP and disaster aid, and protection for Dreamers.
