1800 Thibodo Rd., #310, Vista, CA
Yes, I will be there.  For more information, go here.

Join us to support the national tour being held in both District 49 and District 50 to amplify voices of working Americans so Darrell Issa and Duncan Hunter hear the stories of those lives who are threatened by their vote to raise taxes.  Join us as we start at 10am to rally in front of Issa’s office in Vista.  We have rented a bus to sponsor a road trip up to Hunter’s office in Temecula where we will hold another rally at noon.  Once again, let’s show the GOP that California is not backing down.

BACK TO NET NEUTRALITY

Net Neutrality will come up for a vote in Congress, now that at least 30 Senators have signed on to the bill: https://www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2018/1/8/16863912/senate-ed-markey-claire-mccaskill-net-neutrality-cra-bill  It is time to call our senators and remind them that we are counting on them to vote to restore our free and open internet.

The FCC has now released the final text of its order gutting net neutrality, starting the clock for it to be entered into the Federal Register. Once that happens, we’ll have 60 legislative days to get Congress to reverse it using the Congressional Review Act (https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/01/fcc-releases-final-net-neutrality-repeal-order-three-weeks-after-vote). We have a limited amount of time to make our voices heard, and we need to be sure to use it. Let’s call our members of Congress using this link and make sure they know we expect them to stand up for net neutrality and the free and open Internet. (Rogan's List)

As many are pushing for a congressional resolution to overturn the FCC ruling on net neutrality, Representative Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has introduced the deceptively-titled Open Internet Preservation Act (H.R. 4682http://bit.ly/2D0lBBr This bill would prohibit net neutrality laws from being enacted, thereby relying on internet providers to self-regulate. Let's make sure our representatives know that we do not support the Open Internet Preservation Act. (Rogan's List)
