Now that the unequitable tax bill has passed and will soon be on its way to Trump to sign, let’s take this moment not to despair, but to promise to double down our 2018 efforts to flip both the House and the Senate next November so that it will be OUR turn to do our own replace and repeal. To that end, the tax bill vote has shown us exactly whose seats we need to target. Darrell Issa and Duncan Hunter.
All of YOU have worked very hard this year to prevent Congress from passing the health care plan to replace Obamacare, to voice our opinions about DACA, the Trump TaxScam, net neutrality, and the list goes on.
We need to continue to keep the pressure on Darrell Issa to represent his constituents, work with all San Diego Indivisible and other activist groups to unseat Issa, and pressure Issa, our senators and other elected officials throughout the county on issues that are important to us. There is more coming down the line and we will need your help to let our voices be heard.
How can we do this? Our Tuesday rallies, the Thursday corner rally in Encinitas, volunteering for phone banking, voter registration and other essential opportunities with Flip the 49th, continuing to contact our congressmen daily by phone and/or email on issues that are coming up.
There’s nothing we cannot accomplish when we embrace our diversity, stand behind our values, and fight for what we believe in. 2018 HERE WE COME!!!
